NB: Our recommendation is if you require a camping permit for Googs Track go to the Ceduna Visitor Information Centre. Googs Track starts near Lone Oak, about 40km north of Ceduna. Googs Track is 120 kilometres of 4wd track traversing part of the Yellabinna Conservation Park. It runs north south from the dingo proof fence north of Lone Oak, 40 km north of Ceduna , South Australia to Tarcoola on the East-West railway line.

Googs Track South Australia 363 dunes to cross Roaming The Outback
Googs Track crosses more than 300 sand dunes as it traverses 200 kilometres through the Yumbarra Conservation Park and Yellabinna Regional Reserve before it meets the Transcontinental Railway Line access track at Malbooma. Trailers and caravans are not permitted on Googs Track. There is a gate at the start of the Track, informational signage.

Entered through the gates into the Park and got our 1st taste of the Googs Track. It was badly chopped up with severe corrugations on the flat parts.
